I had the opportunity to study these birds for an entire breeding season. I would spend one day a week at the place where I could observe. It was interesting to me how they fed. they would have the baby bird go deep into their throat to pull out the food. Nature is beautiful because thinking about it it was a perfect segue into the adult birds feeding. Diving into the water to catch their food.
