Getting in practice to eat somebodies garden. At first I thought it was a kangaroo. Nice action shot too.

Nice catch. Not sure I have seen one photographed in mid air like this.

I have seen more than a few jump fences but never got to study the technique. I have encountered scenes along fence lines where this didn't work. Those weren't photogenic subjects.

That’s great timing on your part Craig. Is this in your backyard?
Yes it is. There were around ten and they were all jumping the fence, but this was the little one. He holds his back legs differently than the mature adults. I had better luck there too!

Ironically, I took Thursday off and went way up into the La Sals to check on leaves and wildlife.

Our leaves here have not appreciably changed yet. I found two giant bull elk, many hunters, mountain bikers, and cowboys moving cattle, oh and south american sheep herders herding sheep. For some crazy reason I thought it was going to be dead quiet.. Those days are gone...
