Blluebells in Spring in Messenger Woods, IL

Bluebells line the floodplain of these woods during the spring. The nice thing about the spring in the Midwest is that you can be assured of seeing wildflowers even during dry springs. I changed out the image I initially posted and replaced it with this one. The first one was taken with Fujichrome 50 and just didn't have enough dynamic range to fix the hot spots n the small rapids.

Gorgeous scene Douglas, i wish the water was darker, those hot spots draw too much attention...

Hey Doug,

I am sure liking these Bluebells! Very nice work and you are making me want to get back to the Midwest and shoot some of these.
