Birds of Prey

I went to a local wild birds store and saw a presentation by a Colorado Group the takes birds of prey that have been hurt and cared for but not able to be released back into their natural habitat. They brought 3 birds to this show; a screeching owl, a falcon and a sparrow hawk. The sparrow hawk was too busy flapping his wings and turning around on the handlers hand that I did not get a good image. The. owl and falcon were much quieter so I got a few decent shots.

You didn't even need a fancy telephoto lens for these bird shots I like the screeching owl.

What a great experience. I might need to do that too as it might be the only way I can capture an Owl.
