I was captivated by this tree...so I tried to create the mood
I was feeling.

Pleasant mood to this scene. I like the fluffy clouds lurking out in front of the mountains in the distance.

Focus seems a bit on the soft side.

You have been hanging around forever! It's great to see you joining the gang here with this photo, hopefully just the first of more to come.

I like this. Using a shallower DOF allowed that tree to stand out a bit more from the background. Those puffy clouds seem like the perfect background element to offset the tree.

Hi Alan, great to hear from you! Thanks..I was going for a certain mood on this image so I left the lens
wide open hence the soft side of things in the background.
