Backyard Views

I already posted a view of a maple from my deck. Here are two more of that tree, this time taken with my iPhone from the ground in the backyard.

That is a beautiful backyard. I like the look and feel. The very nice pathways and the full trees, it's almost like you are in the forest. What a peaceful place to have as part of your yard.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm lucky to have this place. When we moved in most of what you see here was a gravel driveway that the previous owner parked his boat on. A few years after moving in we broke up the concrete curbs and piled it all in the yard to make a hill that you see on the lower left in the 2nd shot. Over the last 28 years we've planted, removed, and replanted many plants, but the douglas fir and maple have stayed. It has been a wonderful peaceful place to hang out and putter around, esp. during the pandemic.

Very nice planning, Jim. Are those glass pieces made by Dale Chihouly?

Douglas, no Chihouly for us, if it comes from his company (he hasn't actually blown glass for a long time) it would be at least 3X as much as we paid for those pieces that we've been collecting for many years.
