Back to the Glen...

Made a run with Bart and Larry to Ricketts Glen SP in Benton, PA. It's in a Glen that features a 6-mile loop with various side trails. You can make the upper loop one day and the lower the next. Has camping in the park and 23 named waterfalls and a beautiful river in the forest along the way. I have been many times and have shared images from here on more than a few occasions. I tried to capture a few different views from what I already had. All comments are welcome, and thanks for viewing regards Dean

Dean, nice photos . Ricketts Glen is easily my favorite waterfall area. I had to skip it in April after the area had a 10 inch snow fall the day we left so your work hurts a little . Hopefully a mid summer trip is in the works with a fall color trip to follow . But if those fall thru, please keep posting your work

Sounds like a wonderful place to visit and shoot. I like the delicate flows depicted in these scenes - especially in #3, #4, and #5.

Quite different from the waterfall venues out west where spring flows can be torrential just after the rainy season and winter snows. I have some contrasting takes on a scene from the Oregon Coast Range prepped for tomorrow's Waterfall Wednesday thread that demonstrates that quite well.

Awesome Dean! These are such awesome images. #2 looks like an Infrared B&W with the white foliage.

I am having a real hard time picking out favorites. I think #2 is my favorite followed by #3, and then #1. With #1, have you considered a 4:5 format losing the bottom so that the pour off is closer to the bottom on it?

Oh, and the next time you see Bart, can you tell him we miss him? I really would love to see him posting his photos again.

Very nice Dean! I like the black and white treatment in #2, but the angle in #1 is very pleasing.
