Atwell Peak

This could be the last image taken this passing winter season. It was taken just a few days before all parks got closed. I was not planning to shoot or stay around this viewpoint but when I got there I changed my plans. I felt too tired to continue walking and decided to set the camp for the night. I started exploring compositions and the beauty of this spot surprised me. I thought I knew this view because walked past it many times in different seasons, but I never gave it enough attention.

This is that type of image with light and exposure that could be post process as much as wanted. I easily could make it darker and more dramatic but my approach is to be true to experience. How far would you take it in post processing?

I think this one is stunning as it appears right now. The light side lighting the trees in front and on the mountain slopes is striking.

I tend to lean towards realistic lighting whenever I can for what it's worth so this for me has a just right feel to it.

I love the lighting in this. Thanks so much Artur for posting this here, I know I have been missing your photos.

This is such a cool and inviting scene with that snow and those clouds playing peek a boo!

Lovely light. I can see myself taking many images there and spending angood bit of time taking in the scene.

Thanks. I added slightly less contrasty version here. I think it works better.

Thank you. I walked for about two hours around my camp to find the best composition for this scene. At first I was aiming for wider lens shot but after finding this angle I changed my mind.
