It was pretty windy and dusty yesterday. With lots of biting flies.. So hard to be still.

It works quite well for my feeble eyes - seemingly just the right amount of focus on the bud where it counts and a very pleasing color palette.

That's what I think too!
Columbine not quite ready to open it's eyes yet.

Last week there were hardly any columbines, this week they were popping everywhere. So, there will be about two weeks (maybe) of good shooting of them, then they'll wither away until next year...

This is a nice image, Craig. The only thing I would change is to slightly darken the light green buds because they are distracting from the main subject.
