Yesterday's moon on Mt. Seymour in Vancouver. The temperature fell to -40C. Who knew that spring can be so cruel? Some technical stuff: The rigid moon effect visible on the photo is not a technical issue. I noticed that under very low temperatures the surrounding air behaves as if it was very hot, hence this impression of the "lack of sharpness" on the edges of the moon.#april1
A tiny one....obviously, it isn't Mt. Seymour in Vancouver The rest is true. The photo is from Yukon, Canada. So far on Facebook and Flickr, nobody corrected me And answering your question from the previous post. Yes, I am in Patagonia, now (with an individual workshop for a very special customer of mine). We are having a blast! Stay tuned
The subtle color coming out in the snow is beautiful, and the dark trees and snowless patch on the left balance against the moon perfectly. Never having explored the Yukon I wouldn't have guessed this, but Vancouver, -40 and spring don't seem to fit together.
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
