And then the Colors Arrived

Yesterday I posted an image (In the Wee Small Hours) from just before dawn with the promise of a sweet sunrise to follow. This is what happened about 30 minutes later with another view of Mt. Hood. A 3 shot panorama using a 166mm lens from a low enough altitude to get the tree tops into the scene along with a few neighborhood fall colors.

Thanks Doug - it was a good morning to be up shooting. The sun angle this time of year no longer lights up the face of Mt. Hood for sunrises. By mid December it will rise almost behind the mountain.
