An Epic End to the Day

Sunsets have been interesting lately but typically felt like distant clouds and marine layers have cut them a bit short in duration and color. Not so last Friday when very nice atmospheric conditions led to a nice finale with colors all around and over the position of my drone. There was no way to capture it all but I did set up a very wide stitch of the show with this sequence. Best viewed at full size on a wide screen. With six panels at 28mm this covers almost 180º from the edge of Vancouver Lake on the left to the Cascades on the right. A slight bit of haze added to the evening colors and obscures distant views as can be seen on the right side.

Nice one Alan. Really nice sunset with the various cloud shapes across the frame.
Thanks Jameel - I wish there was a way to capture the puffy ones overhead and behind me as well. Portrait orientation has the limitation of only 10º about level which is less than what I can get using Landscape since I can tilt the gimbal higher.
