Loch Morlich lies under the Cairngorm mountains. When we arrived the wind was calm and the rain/ snow had stopped

I had weather radar on my phone and waited for what I hoped was heavy snow, it was snow but tiny flakes that do not show up well in photographs.

I did find a nice view at 200mm on my Tamron 28-200.

A brief spell of sunshine after this snow shower

Later we drove up the ski access road and this gave us a view down to the Loch

I like the view you got during the sun break in image #4 with the nice reflections and fresh snow. The view from the ski access road is quite nice too.

Super cool conditions Ken! I will have to just enjoy your snow since we got so little here.

My favorite is the 1st one, but I do like them all with the various takes on the light and composition.
