A Timeless Bath

My son is an architect and partnered on a renovation of this stately home in the mountains of North Carolina. We were touring the near complete project this week when this scene caught my eye. I couldn't find a forum for "architectural" in color so I converted it to b/w and find that I like it even better.

Amazing - stately home hardly describes it. A thing of great beauty when practicality isn't a consideration.

I would likely want some kind of step platform for entrance/egress myself.

This looks really sweet in B&W Mike! Just from this small view I can see that your son must be pretty talented.

Architecture would go in the City/Urban forum, though the description doesn't spell it out. So thanks for the heads up, I will correct the description.

You just don’t know the half of it. I wish I could do a pictorial of the entire estate but privacy is an issue. Practicality was never a consideration .

Thanks, we’ve always recognized his talent, we just can’t afford it :D.

Nice jon Mike, I like this and the symetry of the composition.
This is very nice.

Thanks to all.
