So cool Michael! I love how it is basically a triangle shape, I know I wonder how is that made or eroded that it ends up as a triangle? We need @Douglas Sherman to explain that.

And yeah, we need to hear your story about the broken bones sometime.
 
That is a great-looking image, Michael. The triangular shape is due to joints, which are cracks in the rock formed by the stresses the rock is subjected to as it is uplifted. You see a lot of those kinds of shapes in the sandstones around the Coyote Buttes area.
