With temperatures dipping and moisture still in the air, the frost covered everything this morning and it hung around for hours. It created and magical landscape of even the most mundane.

I could have stayed out a lot longer but it was getting nippy. Besides I have many more from the morning walk but these were my favorites.

Yeah, I still love winter and snow. This has been one of the snowiest in Minnesota in many years. The only problem is that it is not going to melt until mid-March as we have a lot of snow season still to go!

Thanks Trent. Ours lasted quite a while through early afternoon but the sun and slight breeze eventually took care of it.
