A little sunset fade out

This is tonight's experiment. Two TL videos merged over about 45 minutes. I let it go dark at the end. I had another segment but it was just too dark. In fact I re exposed as it started, but that made it much brighter than the end of the previous segment, but it quickly got very dark.

Canon EOS RDSR at f8, about 100 mm. 4 second intervals.

Hey Ben, that looks really cool. Love all of that cloud movement and also the bit of sun that popped up a bit.

I am set up at Newport Beach as we speak. I have 3 cameras going. All 3 shooting the same scene at 1, 2, and 3 sec gaps. It’s fading to dark here so I will be curious how they handle it. 2 of them have exposure smoothing on and 1 has the dlight mode turned on.

Hey Jim, that will be interesting to see, I don't think i have exposure smoothing on any of my cameras. I have quite a bit of control over the R5 during a timelapse, and with the control ring on the lens I can adjust exposure without doing much to the camera. The 5Dsr is very limited however, and does not even show the image as it goes.

I also found a music download I will post the link in my other thread.
