I did a reprocess of this Dallas divide fall scene yesterday taken some years ago. Not quite peak color.

Thanks Alan. This was my first visit to that area. So this much color and this light was like the proverbial kid in a candy store.Maybe not peak color but quite a few vivid patches in the foreground. I like the nice whites of the early snowfall on the peaks in the background.
Thanks John.Truly a beautiful capture of a beautiful landscape—you did good!
Thanks Jim. Good to know that this was potentially peak color. At that time I was in the mind set that I should have planned a week or more laterAwesome Jameel.
I would argue this is peak color.
Why? Because while there is green in this, by the time the green leaved trees turn color, the other trees with the leaves already turned will have lost their leaves and be bare. I always prefer fall colors with some green in the scene as opposed to no green where half the trees now are bare.
Anyway, that's the way I look at it.
