A Back-view of the Gilbert Paper Company

Did they bring in wood chips? Those are usually dumped from hopper cars.
Gilbert's did not use wood chips, at least in my time there. We unloaded processed pulp, baled rags, and bagged sizing. Just about anything that was need for paper making was brought in through the back loading dock. (Way do I keep saying loading dock when nothing ever was loaded back there!) Bagged Dry Bleach was the only supplies brought in elsewhere, through the front of the mill. They had a small "Bleach House" .

So cool Tom! This has such an old film feel to it. As to the shot, the fishermen add such a cool detail to this. And for me, anything that mentions the Fox River is always a plus for me. :)
