Good question, @AlanLichty. I was bothered by the same thing. Mountain range. 2-image HDR. Didnt do any masking. Here is one of the HDR images I used. I used LR's HDR function. Maybe, I should just mask the mountains and darken it. Will try that later today.
I asked Google Gemini and it said that a better option is to upgrade to iphone 16 pro that has a better 13mm lens compared to the 15 pro. Gemini does recommend buying a Sandmarc ND filter & the tele lens.
Thanks @John Holbrook for your kind words. Unless you want to make large prints or you are @JimFox (MWW - Milky Way Wizard), iPhone 15 Pro or later ones seems to be a good choice for landscapes. Dont have to deal with focus stacking. I am thinking of getting this considering the 13mm wide lens...
This image was shot on my iphone to use its location info for the images shot with my Nikon. I shot it without seriously composing the scene but it turned out reasonably good.
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
