    Love these guys, well actually this gir! Females have that rusty stripe making them the more colorful of the genders.

    Again, Titlow Park in Tacoma did not let us down. Got a chance to observe this Pileated Woodpecker doing some thorough preening. The Sapsuckers were flitting around from tree to tree. I don't see these guys very often and to capture 2 was a treat!
