The saddle where I shot from is about 11,000'. I was camped at 10,800' and this was a bit higher. The peak on the left (Little El Capitan) is @12,000'

Very nice. I like the contours of the dunes, and those people certainly give it scale. The tree being off center is nice.

Nice to have a different view of the Valley.

I would think that good snow tires would be adequate if you're used to driving in snow.

It may not be what you had envisioned, but it's a very nice composition.
