Very nice conversions. I kind of wish for a little more foreground in #2. I like the rain in #2, but I think it could do with a bit of crop of the sky.

A little more sky for me on the crop and maybe burn the road a bit so it isn't the brightest part of the image.

Nice composition, Jim. And the processing is not as "hot" as you often like to make it. If the person next to you is used to looking at the sky from a coastal area, the humidity will also make it so the stars are not as bright or defined.

Interesting/colorful old gas station. Nice combination of colors & lines with the grass polygons (wonder what created them, as I'm sure it's not thermokarst in the desert) and sunset colors. Great find, Jim!
