Hi all. I’m on vacation and have been getting up at 4:45am lately to get some sunrise photos. I’m pretty impressed with the skies here. I’m near Destin Florida. These photos are from this mornings sunrise.

Sony A7rIII and Sony 24mm f/1.4G Master lens at f/11.
i went to a place called the Secret Garden in Sulphur Louisiana, neat place, designed for photographers. I used the Sigma 105mm f/1.4 Art for all of these. Great lens!
I used my Sony A7rIII and the Sigma 105mm f/1.4 Art last night for the eclipse. I chose to go wide so I could get a star field behind it and the moon is to the right of the beehive open cluster (M44). The camera/lens setup was guided on my AstroTrac. I like the way it turned out....
hello all...
I took this image of Faith yesterday (Saturday) out in the country. I use Sony now and the 85mm GM was used here. I also have the new Sigma 105mm art....wow! Awesome lens. Faith on her back was with the 85, on the swing, 105mm
Hi all, hello Jim.
Well I did capture this awesome looking layered isolated thunderstorm at sunset. Minimal processing, it really looked like this. Unfortunately I couldn’t see the possibility beautiful sunset in the opposite direction.
Hey everyone, I’m sorry I’ve been away for a while. A lot going on. I’ve made the switch to Sony. Can’t believe I did, but it’s true. I now have two Sony A7r III camera bodies. I took photos of Parks this morning, main light was a big window, left. Thanks for looking.
Zeiss Batis 1.8/85 at f/1.8
One from yesterday... I have the Nikon 105mm f/1.4E but I don’t use it much. I’ll keep it though as it is great for astrophotography... anyway, I’ve switched most of my lenses to Zeiss, which are fantastic! Here is a portrait taken with my 2/135 ZF.2
senior session from yesterday. Used my Zeiss Milvus 1.4/85 ZF.2 if any of you want to know. I’ve gotten so used to the Zeiss lenses / manual focus that I hardly use my AF lenses, which are few anyway. Thank you for your feedback
i had the pleasure of taking Kate’s senior portraits. She and her parents really liked them. I used my Nikon D850 and Zeiss Milvus lenses (1.4/85, 2/135, & 1.4/50)
I received my new Zeiss Milvus 2/135 ZF.2 Wednesday and took it out today for some nature shots. Found some tree frogs and photographed them with this awesome lens... top photo is at f/2.
here is a portrait from yesterday. This was my first time using a 40” diffuser over the subject at an angle similar to a soft box that I normally would use. I think I did well on this, many complements on it. I used my Nikon D850 with the Nikon 105mm f/1.4 @ f/1.4. I probably could have used...
This is Kahlyn, my niece. I was testing out my Zeiss Milvus 85mm 1.4 on her. Natural window light. I really like this combination. Comments welcome, I shot at f/1.4 and realize her closest eye is the only one in focus, but it still works.
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
