Attached are 2 crops of the same image. One is a 16:9 and the other is 1:1. I like the broad landscape of the 16:9 but the 1:1 is better balanced. Interested in your thoughts of the two different compositions.
The mountain was playing hide and seek all morning yesterday. This image was shot a few minutes before sunrise. I found the trails I hiked clean and free of trash. Impressive considering the shutdown. I also found out that the crowd is minimum mid week. Very few people on skyline trail.
agree. My estimate height of the chapel is 12'. I was looking for scale w/o putting a person in the image. The size of the leaves will give u some scale but that is not obvious. Maybe a bear when i visit next time. :cool:
Drove around Northern Cascades this past Thurs & Fri chasing fall foliage. Came across this tiny chapel roadside on Highway 20 near Marblemount, WA. Large number of leaves are still green. Considering visiting the spot again in a week or so.
There are terrific spots to photograph along the Tagus River in Lisbon. Here is an image of April 25 Bridge. James Bond fanatics may remember seeing it in On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
