This was taken with a full spectrum converted camera. Taken from a ferry from Seattle to Bremerton Island. I had meant to shoot this normal (i.e. with a hot mirror filter which makes the full spectrum into normal) but forgot my bag of filters on this trip.

Last weekend we had gone to Bellingham to attend a wedding. On the way back I decided to take a detour towards North Cascades. It was rainy and wet all the way. The photography opportunities were limited to put it mildly. I did manage to grab a couple of waterfalls where the flow was quite...
I have been trying for a while to get a nice sunset shot of Mt Ranier with a lenticular cloud at the peak. This is the closest I got a week or so ago.

Reprocessed based on Jim's comments.
This is from yesterday. The clouds were on and off most of the day but unlike Friday it was not windy and blustery. The clouds towards west were almost to the point of another muted sunset. Things cleared up as the sun was close to the horizon. Unfortunately Rainier was not visible from here due...
Last few days have been mostly cloudy or just plain skies here. On Friday it was more of the former. It started getting really windy as the afternoon progressed and just before sunset a bit of clearing towards the west showed some serious colors. I debated sending the drone up with the heavy...
An image I captured mid January of this year. I normally avoid mixing man made terrestrial structures. This provided a nice dichotomy between nature at the top half and the man made objects at the bottom. The sunset didn't disappoint.

I had hoped to go upto the mountains to capture this friday night. Unfortunately, something important came up which got me back home around 11pm. I tried to capture what I could that night from my backyard. The peak show was mostly over but there was still some action.
A couple of images from...
From a trip a couple of years ago. Nothing fancy in terms of sunset colors but the lone cloud hung around for some interest in the otherwise plain skies.

A sunrise view of the place we all know and like. I recently reprocessed it with the new tools and like it better than I had processed before.

This is from last summer. I didn't realize at that time, but I had clipped the two petals at the bottom. I tried to manually 'repair' that but was never happy with the results. The regenerative fill helped me out. Quite a tool for situations like this.
