I had to share another pano, this time looking back at the point where most people park. We wanted a bit more privacy so parked our camper on the left.
After reading rave reviews I bit the bullet and ordered a new MacBook Pro 16" Max with 24 GPU cores, 64 GB RAM, 2 TB HD. My old 15" MacBook Pro works fine at home plugged in, but I was having trouble when we were boon docking on our recent SW trip (all but a couple nights in a month). When...
I was up on Steens Mt. back at the end of September for the first snow of the season. We still managed to drive almost to the top in our truck camper. I flew my Mavic 2 Pro down and out from the mountain to look back at the sunrise hitting the east face.
I'm on the rim on the far right (not...
This was the first stop on our month long trip to the SW. I didn't have room on my laptop hard drive so had to move these to an external and wait until I got home to process them. I just finished the rain storm pano and am very happy with it.

I haven't flown my drone around home much since returning from the SW a couple weeks ago. Sunrise yesterday looked promising so I drove over to the other side of the lake to take off. In my excitement I forgot to check the ISO, which I have only increased once from the base 100, but the last...
This was the first morning I had my iPhone 13 Pro out shooting landscapes. I was quite happy with the results, but have just now finished processing some of the shots from the A7rII and thought the comparisons might be fun to share. None are exact duplicates, this comparison wasn't planned at...
Many of you have probably hiked up to Cassidy Arch in Capital Reef - very nice easy route, with a touch of slick rock scrambling near the end. If you were lucky you might have seen people taking off on the 8 rappel canyoneering route that starts behind the arch with a spectacular full rope...
One of my favorite sunset shots from Skyline. I was hiking along the rim at sunset with both my iPhone 13 and A7rII and switching back and forth. This was taken with the phone's wide lens then edited in ACR. I remember the immediate feedback and excitement when I saw this on the phone screen...
I just finished processing this one and am pretty excited so I'm posting it very large (gallery image that you can zoom in on). It's my kind of selfie - when I look very close in front of the truck camper I can see myself flying the drone.
Here is the camper detail at full size:
