    Monsoons over Tatahotso Point

This is actually my favorite from the trip with Doug and Tom because it captures the entire turn in the canyon. The storm in the distance hit us just about 10 minutes after this image was captured. We experienced torrential rain and high wind the shook my SUV something awful. Bob

    Lizard Head Rock

Hey Everyone, I was out last night to try and shoot a milky way. Unfortunately, this is what happened. The clouds rolled in and would not leave. You can barely make out the milky way just between the opening in the clouds. The cloud color is from light pollution in Sedona. Would be...

    Grand Canyon Milky Way

I was at the Grand Canyon last night trying to shoot lightning. I was not very successful. However, around 1 am the clouds parted enough to allow me to shoot this image of the milky way with the canyon being lit by lightning that was happening in the distance. I was using a Sigma 20mm prime...

    Sky Rock

Here is an image I shot a few years ago of Sky Rock. This is a place that Galen Rowell first captured a long time ago before his death. I was always fascinated by this image and place and finally found where it was located. I had to go back a few times before I got the right conditions to...
