    These two Eagles were just Hanging out at the Semiahmoo Spit, it is a long narrow land barrier to the Blaine Harbor. Lots of ducks, geese, and assorted water birds on both sides. Makes for good hunting.

    I am always fascinated by Nature and adaptations for survival. This White Ibis had his eyes closed, while shaking the Crawfish to kill it, as a protection. I do not think I have many bird photographs with their eyes closed.

    Hanging with a Kingfisher

    I was able to spend a little time with this Kingfisher yesterday morning. He was active and very animated, I gave him his space and he flew out over the water several times to come back to perch on this branch. no fish so eventually moved on to another part of the lake.
