Winged Wednesday 3/4/2020

Today winged Wednesday are three photo of an American Kestrel. In my opinion, it is the prettiest bird in North America. I hope I'll be challenged so please tell me what species you think is the prettiest North American bird. Birds I considered are the Painted Bunting, Green Jay, Elegant Trogon, Purple Gallinule, Roseate Spoonbill, Northern Cardinal, Horned Grebe in breeding plumage, Cinnamon Teal, Wood Duck, Cedar and Bohemian Waxwing.

Thanks for starting this thread Eric and the Kestrel is indeed a beautiful bird. I am going with a wood duck today as I think it is one of the more beautiful birds.
