Thanks for the kind comment, Jeffrey. This isn't very tricky. If there is not too much DOF I focus on the point closest to me and shoot at f-22. If a larger depth of field is necessary I focus about a third of the way in and shoot at f-22. Most people don't like to shoot at f-22 but I find that the increased diffraction is difficult to detect.
