Ferns and Creek

This was from my stop at Kruse Rhododendron State Park on Sunday - and it doesn't have any flowers. I stopped by this small creek and set my camera up right next to the water with a wide (15mm) lens to get as much as the scene as possible. I wanted to get the water flow, the ferns, the redwood trunk and the forest in the distance. I also managed to get a tripod foot but photoshop fixed that.

Any thoughts are welcome!

My favorite kind of forest scenery - but you probably already knew that

Nice to not have direct sunlight so you can get a better view of the forest without deep shadows.

Drizzle is perfect for a forest scene like this - the plants always look better when they are wet.
