Got this a couple weeks ago up above Chuckanut drive near Bellingham WA. I posted it to Google Photos and don't know how to embed here so you have to click through. It is a high quality 1080p file so to see a large version click the video, then wait a bit until it has fully loaded to see it without artifacts.

Hey Jim, that is pretty cool looking! It feels a bit dark though, I understand the light is low but if it could be just 2/3rds of a stop brighter even I think it would look really nice.

Maybe by this time next year we will be able to upload Video's directly to FocalWorld. It's something that's being worked on in the core software, so perhaps once it's released next year we can look into upgrading the forum so that we can accept video uploads also.

Thanks for the comments Jim. Yes, it is definitely underexposed since I didn't want to blow out the sun, which was star of the show. The sensor on this drone doesn't have the DR of my cameras, esp. when shooting normal video, so I've been using the zebra stripes and shooting like we used to with film to not blow the highlights.

I figured that was the case. I did the same with mine, I shot them a bit darker and then brightened them up in post.

I have been using Movavi to edit my video's and I can adjust the brightness, shadows and highlights in the clip when I am editing much like you can a regular photo. Not sure what you are editing yours in, but perhaps a bit of shadow recovery in your clips would work?

Neat view - I like it.

Question - as I look out over the water the surface indicates a fair breeze keeping the surface choppy. How does the drone compensate to keep the video steady with these conditions?

Alan, it wasn't windy up where I was flying at the time, but the drone does compensate fairly well in mild wind. It will continuously beep and warn you to land in higher wind (but will keep shooting if you ignore it).
