Hello all. This image was taken on a trip from Vegas to Colorado. I had very little time to spend shooting the scene. It had a ton of potential. I liked this one, but I wish that I had worked it a little harder. I hope to re-visit this one in the near future. Thanks for looking.

I really like everything about this - clouds, moon, light, and basic composition. I would just like a bit more foreground to complete the line of lighter dirt coming down off the butte to the right toward the tower. What is the name of that tower?

Neat shot but like Jim I find myself wanting to see more of this scene - a lot more. At least a little more of the foreground and maybe a little more of the butte on the right. Definitely a spot worth a revisit and hopefully with some light like this.

Thanks guys. You both nailed it. The foreground included a barbed wire fence and a frontage road. If I had the time to cross the road and jump the fence, I would have been able to achieve just that. I appreciate the comments! Ryan

That is a cool area, well worth stopping. I have shot many a sunset and sunrise there too. I do like the moon in this scene.
