Hello all. I spent last week in the Colorado mountains. I am just starting to process the images. This one is a little different, but I wanted to share it. I hope you all had a rewarding Labor day weekend.

I like this perspective. Very cool looking up like that, and usually I don't like that, but it totally works here.

And now that you are back from Colorado I am getting ready to go to Colorado!

Like Jim I don't usually take a liking to shots like this but one of the biggest reasons lies in how seldom you can get a good image of the tree itself without having skies that are completely blown out. You seem to have defied the dynamic lighting gods with this one and obtained workable results. Nice work.

Immediately, I think of "tree of life" when I see this image. The branches look like capillaries spreading throughout a human's body.
