Where's Mom?

I was watching an Ironman event and noticed this dad/daughter pair across the running lane. I surmise that mom was in the event and they were waiting for her to pass by. Dad is vigilant, daughter seems to be interested in other things.

D700, Nikkor 80-400 @ f/5.6, 1/400 sec, (-0.3EV), ISO 800, 390mm, hand held.
