A Good Start

I had hopes when some colors started to show up last night at sunset. Sadly this was in between squalls and my hopes for something amazing beyond subtle hues was wishful thinking. Four panels at 28mm.

Thanks Jim - I thought it was pretty neat that the reflections in this view made the Columbia River wetlands really stand out to display their extent during the rainy season. I will be curious to see this same view after this next atmospheric river is finished dumping on us.

Thanks Kurt - I just eyeball a reasonable overlap while pivoting the drone in the air and squeeze off the next shot. No science involved here at all but plenty of experience with how much of an overlap Lightroom needs to align the captures. I would guesstimate around 1/4 frame overlap as I am turning the drone. LR seems to need about that much overlap to get a good alignment. I typically use Cylindrical as the projection choice for the merge.
