I decided to play around with your theme here and focus mostly on shots of arches taken during the month of March

This one wasn't shot during a March visit but is always a nice icon - Delicate Arch in Arches National Park:

Beautiful landscapes featuring arches, Alan. I especially favor the Mobius Arch and the Valley of Fire State Park arch as well. Gorgeous. Also, I also loved the drone shots along the coast too. Of course the Delicate Arch is a beautiful composition too. Very nice!

Is it possible to get 'kickoff a forum"? It might appear that is my goal with this highly unorthodox interpretation of 'March". I don't mean to be disrespectful but really enjoy your creative introductions and don't have a depth of landscape photos so here goes.

OK.. I did find one landscape photo taken in March. These falls are only visible from the VIA rail train as it travels through the Rockies.

Trent, love your “take” on the Task—and your photos! I especially favor the frozen falls landscape image and many more…wonderful flight of White Pelicans, the cute trio of ground squirrels, and the macro image of the March fly! Thank you so much for sharing this very nice variety of great images!

Craig, I thank you so much for sharing these gorgeous images for this Task. Very nice—each one! It’s always difficult to choose a “favorite” among your images but I would like to name a few. “Spring Sunrise” with its beautiful light and perfect composition. “Balancing Act” (love the title) is a gorgeous capture of color and light and “Sunglow” for the same reasons as well. I love “Planetary Pedestal” for the composition AND the shadow—and to literally “complete the picture” the moon as well. “The Green Meets the Gold” image’s color is striking with colors blue and gold prominently captured. And lastly, “The Goblin’s Back” is a wonderful capture of light and shadow and of the many layers in this composition. Thanks again Craig.

I will continue with the arch part of March but in French. This is le Pont d'Arc in the Ardeche region of Southern France a 170ft high natural arch over the Ardeche river. Ken

Finally an early morning shot, Unfortunately I have lost the original RAW file and am just left with this small jpeg.

Ken, a beautiful collection of images of this arch—and thank you for sharing each of them. I especially favor the first image with the warm light viewed from through and beyond the arch. The second and third images work well with viewers admiring the arch before them. The third image with the couple beneath the tree framing the arch beyond is very beautiful. I’m glad you still had the jpeg file of the last image for us to see this additional view. Nice inclusion of the canoe traveling through the arch as well. Thanks again Ken!

I will repost them here and see if that works. I have been getting a bunch of no shows lately and I don't know why.

A beautiful image of Valley of Fire State Park you shared—and I was able to view it! (Thank you for reposting!) I love the color range captured and the many layers. Very, very nice! I also enjoyed seeing the march of the costumed soldiers—very colorful. I’m sure it was quite the sight! Thank you for your Task interpretation.

Hey.... thanks for starting this, John.
There are many amazing images here. (I really like your "March" rock.)
My contribution is a shot of one of our favourite places in March - Anza Borrego State Park, just below Palm Springs, CA. The flowers were magnificant in 2017.

Dave, I love the composition you captured in Anza Borrego State Park. The flowers are beautiful—I like the foreground of the large rock and flowers with the mountains beyond. Very nice! Thank you for sharing this image and the compliment of the March arch.

Very late to the party as it was a pretty busy week for me. A few images shot in March of various years.

Jameel, thank you for sharing these gorgeous landscapes! I like the cherry blossoms in your first image—a very pretty scene. I especially favor the Valley of Fire composition and colors. The Death Valley sunrise—is a stunning image. The Mt St Helens is another perfect composition with such rich detail—and my most favorite image! Thanks again for sharing each of these.
