A Rocky Sunset

Thankfully Monika reminded me that I hadn't posted these yet.

Actually it's from Green River, but I was staying in Rock Springs Wyoming as I was driving West on the 80 to head to California earlier this week.

There was some nice clouds so I drive the 10 minutes to get to Green River where there are some super cool rocks.

I like the view in #2 with more of the rocks and less of the freeway. Better clouds in #1 but the rocks fill in the frame better.

Thanks Alan, #2 if my favorite as well. I purposely used that rock to block the freeeway.

You did get some nice colors, and the boulders make for an interesting foreground (& hide I-80!). I won't ask for pictures of the hotel room with jetted tub........

Thanks Jameel. It is such a cool area, so many neat rock structures along the I-80 there but this section is the easiest to access.
