It’s Winged Wednesday, where feathers, flutters, and flight steal the show! As always, anything with wings is welcome—birds, bugs, bats, butterflies, beetles, or whatever else manages to get airborne.
But this week, my photos are bringing the attitude.
I’m featuring Angry Birds—the feathered hotheads, the irate egrets, the tantrum-throwing buntings, and the judgmental toucans.
Whether they’re mid-chase, mid-miss, or just naturally scowly, these birds have one thing in common: they’re not here to make friends.
Feel free to post your own—whether they're blissfully calm, mildly peeved, or full-on furious. If it’s got wings, it’s fair game.
Thanks for visiting, and thanks for playing Winged Wednesday!
Lazuli Bunting (Mid-Hissyfit)
Bluebird of happiness? Not today. This Lazuli went full tantrum over nothing visible to the human eye.
Rufous Hummingbirds (Point Taken)
When diplomacy fails, Rufous Hummingbirds skip straight to saber work.
The stabber strikes with fearless flair.
The stabbee wonders, “Was that fair?”
Red-breasted Toucan (Possibly Furious?)
He may not be mad, but that bill says otherwise.
It’s the look of someone who’s seen things.
Or just got cut off in traffic by a parrot.
Guira Cuckoo (Looking Perpetually Offended)
This bird doesn’t blink—it judges.
With that punk crest and perpetual scowl, it looks like it’s about to ban your account. Or just got cut off in traffic by a parrot.
Black-collared Hawk
It sits like royalty and stares like it's reading your browser history. Whether it’s planning dinner or just radiating disapproval, no one knows.
But it wants you to know... it knows.
