On the Road to Fern Lake

On the road to Fern Lake trailhead in RMNP. It was in between rain squalls and with interesting clouds coming over the mountains. This is a blend of 2 exposures, blended in Photoshop.

Nice work with the blend - looks quite normal as a view up the road. Hard to go wrong with a winding road ahead.

Fern Lake is a fun place with a great hike to get there. That road does let us see some great views.

My only suggestion would be next time you should shoot from the middle of the road, unless the road is going to angle through the image. But in this case it just goes straight, so compositionally you are splitting the image.

I have been working with Tony Kuyper's plug in to Photoshop for several years and finally got the hang of blending files where I think they look natural!
