Interesting to see these stands of deciduous trees like this. Nice colors on them.

Is there a ski run or a transmission line running through there? Our forests are typically evergreens unless the evergreens are disturbed by some kind of construction or disaster. Ultimately the evergreens will take back over since they grow all year and the deciduous trees only grow in our dry season.

@AlanLichty good observation. There are powerlines closer to the road but didnt see any when i shot the image. I'll post an image with the power lines in the next few days .

I sure like the way the fall color is angling down that slope. Good eye!

I like that area for fall colors. Has a nice mix of reds and oranges.
