My visit to Yosemite earlier this week saw a mix of every kind of weather. The first day was sunny with bare skies. The next day brought rains and cloudy and snow up at higher elevations. The day after that more rain and snow causing closure of access to glacier point and Tioga pass. My last day had the best conditions but was limited by how much time I had before heading back for my flight home.

This image is from Tuesday morning. Low clouds and rainy conditions for some interesting photo opportunities.

Beautiful view. I love scenes like this with an almost mystical feel to the views of the valley and the mountains peeking through the clouds. I'll take conditions like this over naked skies any day of the week.

Perfect Jameel! You sure got some awesome conditions. I like the look of this a lot, but have you tried it in B&W? If you could really push some blacks in this, it could be really cool that way too.

Thanks Jim. I thought about it. Trying to get the contrast with pure blacks and whites would make this a bit gritty and lose the soft feel with all the clouds and mist.
