My falls for today are from Falls Creek Falls in Washington's Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Towards the end of our dry season these falls shrink down from being one big firehose to a series of smaller more delicate cascades that offer up almost endless small scenes when you toss on a long lens.

This is Wahclella Falls in the Columbia River Gorge. Always seems to have a log or two to deal with here!

Sweet - there are a couple of places in the Gorge where logs are almost always wedged in the scene like this. And almost never the same ones year after year. I would be curious to shoot these falls with a drone sometime as the viewpoints are limited.
