Here is an image of Professor Goodbellows Old Time Portrait studio in the now defunct Heritage Square Arcade Center. I had a photo taken there years ago posing as a frontiersman. It was a great family place with ride for the kids and good food lor=ts of shopping areas, just good clean fun! ;)

When I first saw the title I was imagining something like @Joe Kayne's wet plate camera photography but this works as another angle on the theme. Does the photographer who runs this place try to replicate the old time results?

That looks like it would have been a lot of fun. It's too bad some of these older entertainment places didn't survive.

Hi Alan, there a 2 or 3 Dr. Goodbellows studios in the Denver metro area. The definitely try to capture the feel of the old time, using sepia toned prints and a lot costumes from the period for customers to dress in. I the image I took I was a wearing western outfit complete western hat, a scarf and hoster and 6 shooter! Great fun!

Hi Jim, I think they survived and moved to a new location in Golden, Colorado. They were a lot of fun and I hope they survive in Golden. ;)
