Felting in White.

My friend Lynn is a masterful fibre artist with an uncanny ability to make detailed work using felting techniques. Lynn used inspirations from trees, tree bark, wood grain and knots in lumber to create these four panels (each 4 ft. x 2 ft.). Each one has a story to tell as she deals with a complex family medical journey.
We took these images for an upcoming gallery display.

Wow! She is amazing! Pass on to her that we really like her art.

I like how you did the background with that gradiation.

My favorite of these is #4, #1, #3, #2. Though each time I scroll, I get a new favorite. :)

Pretty incredible work that she does! How did you attain the gradient for the background in these?
I agree Kurt she is an amazing artist. For the gradient I use either PS or LR. Light room works well if the object is easy to isolate from the background. I then use the 'Intersect layer with' menu option, choose linear gradient and add that gradient.
