M33, the Sparkly Galaxy

So I rebuild my HEQ5 installing a belt drive kit replacing the gears and ran this target for the last 2 nights totaling about (190) 5 min subs.
This target didn't need this much time but wanted to test the mount over 2 nights with meridian flips etc.
I would say the mount is running at a 40% improved tracking, some times higher so I am a happy camper!
Besides the mount, I use my WO GT 71, Asi 533 mc pro, with the Antlia Tri Band filter.

Congrats on the rebuild of your HEQ5. I think anytime you tear into your astro mount it can be a bit of a daunting feeling. Good job on doing it and getting it to work even better then before!

And this one does sparkle Ed! Not sure why I never thought of that before, but it really does look like it has jewels on it sparkling! Now you are making me want to go and capture this again!

Lovely - M33 is harder than many think, as it is large but has low surface brightness. I like the contrast you have teased out of it here.
