i'm working the state fair command post this week, we almost have enough confiscated fake ids to play a full game of jenga. i grabbed a few deserted shots of the fairgrounds on my way out. it’s around 60 glorious degrees inside the command post, and 80+ degrees and muggy outside. i didn't have time to hang out and wait for the lens to acclimate to the change in temp and humidity so it fogged up pretty bad. but the fogginess worked well for this photo. this was shot handheld, 1/20 sec @ 53mm. it's tack sharp even when pixel peeping, the ibis on the 100s ii is pretty good.

The foggy lens is perfect for this scene. A very different version of this scene from what would be expected during open midway hours. This worked quite well for the exposure settings - nice testament for the IBIS in your camera.

That's so cool! Love the look of this and glad you stopped to take this photo. Fairs are fun places to photograph at night.

thanks alan. i wasn't overly excited with the foggy lens at the time, but it worked in my favor. i could never get this shot during business hours, it's pretty packed. the ibis in the camera is much better than i expected.
