Beautiful shots, Joseph.

Blue herons are a bit dominant in their own territories, I have seen how the large bird drove away smaller egrets & herons for the fish.

All of these are great images. I really like them all. #1 is such a great pose, and #2 looks like something we would find in National Geographic!
