Many thanks - it helped brighten mine as well. Lots of rainy days in our area and I have to dash out between showers and dodge the mud puddles to shoot.

Thanks Michael - I am not the gardener but I believe these should be planted in the fall. I have never done much with them beyond watering them and taking pictures

Thanks Jameel - the original was slightly underexposed with dark skies so I only barely had to do anything for the dark backdrop.

Thanks - one of the advantages of a dark day is deep shadows for scenes like this.
